What is Stoptober and how does it work?

Stoptober is a 28-day stop smoking challenge that takes place every October. It is based on research that shows if you stop smoking for 28 days then you’re five times more likely to stop smoking for good.

The campaign began in 2012 and is run by the NHS and Public Health England. They aim to help people across the UK on their quit smoking journeys.

In the past decade, it has helped over 2.5 million people stop smoking. Are you ready to join this number?

How can I take part?

To take part in Stoptober, all you have to do is make a quit smoking attempt for 28 days in October. It officially starts on 1st October, but any day is a good day to quit smoking!

There’s no wrong or right way to take part in Stoptober, you can find an approach that works for you. And our team are here to help you every step of the way, whether it’s online, in-person, or over the phone.

You can visit our stop smoking clinics in Aylesbury and Chiltern.
